Space on site was limited to the building footprint with no storage areas so a HybriDfMA solution was required. Working closely with PCE Peikko the 140 number D18-500 DELTABEAM®s were designed to match the slim floor construction and be one of the components in this “kit of parts” approach. DELTABEAM®s were delivered to a local holding yard and the edge protection barriers were installed before delivery; this meant the beams could be installed directly into the building without setting down on site. DELTABEAM®s combined with the other components allowed the onsite construction element to be completed just 17 crane weeks, giving a total of 9500-man hours with no health & safety incidents.
