One of Peikkos largest projects in Sweden, rising to a height of 67 meters, ICON Växjö consists of apartments, offices, a hotel and a school covering a floor area of 37,000 m2 in total on 20 floors.
The project is to be completed in the autumn 2018. Peikko delivered the DELTABEAM® Frame and other steel assemblies for this project and is responsible for overall building stability. ICON Växjö is a modern and very attractive building, with challenging technical solutions and fast delivery time. Using the DELTABEAM® Frame solution extremely high speed of assembly was achieved. And despite wintertime, it took only 9 months to assembly the frame.
As a supplier and project partner Peikko is professional and capable for fast action when needed. Engineers and project managers are polite and extremely skilled. Peikko's solutions are easy to work with; simply great products.
