The new 8-story Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva Hotel has a gallery connecting it to the current hotel.
There will be 160 new hotel rooms in the four floors of the building. A two-level underground car park will have 110 parking spaces. At the first floor of the new building there will be shops and catering facilities, and on the second and third floors there will be about 2,000 sq. m space for offices.
The new building will be A + energy efficiency class. The first three floors of the building will be equipped with geothermal heating, and the building will be designed and built in accordance with the requirements of the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) and will seek evaluation "Very good".
A lot of different Peikko solutions have been used for the project. DELTABEAM® Composite Beams were chosen to create open spaces and reduce height of the building helping to ensure energy-efficiency.
