Riga Airport Fire Station, Riga, Latvia

A new fire station has replaced two existing stations, improving airfield safety and reducing the travel time for the fire team to fire or accident site.

Various Peikko solutions where chosen; to ensure open spaces, DELTABEAM^® Slim Floor Structure, to have openings in the slabs; Petra^® Slab Hangers.

In order to avoid concrete floor transformations since it's affected by fire trucks a decision was made to use TERAJOINT^® Free Movement Joint.
