Sundet, block D, Tromsø, Norway

Block D is the last of four housing blocks in Sundet Borettslag. The building contains 19 apartments, sports stalls and a garage spread over six floors. Plan 1 is reserved for the garage, the remaining five floors consist of housing. The building is based on steel parts and supporting systems in combination of steel and concrete. The facade consists of white formic plates, as well as a blue panel. All apartments have balconies. Peikko's DELTABEAM^® was chosen for the project, as it enables cantilevers together with a slim floor structure.
